Apella Resources Inc.(TSX.V: APA); (Frankfurt Symbol: NWN) and its Board of Directors are pleased to announce that the Company has commenced exploration on its Firecracker Gold Project located in Catherine Township near Kirkland Lake, Ontario. Apella has a 100% interest in the gold project.
The first phase of work is underway and it will entail approximately 22 line kilometres of line-cutting, ground geophysics and prospecting in order to identify targets of merit for follow-up diamond drilling.
Historically the region in and around Kirkland Lake has produced millions of ounces of gold.
